Bats
Mammals in the Chiroptera order include bats. They are the only animals that can fly continuously. All around the planet, with the exception of arctic and severe desert areas, bats may be found. Bats are one of the most varied families of animals, with over 1,400 species. As seed dispersers, bug predators, and pollinators, bats are essential to ecosystems. Being nocturnal creatures, they rely on echolocation to help them travel and hunt throughout the night.
Bats are able to fly effectively because of their unusual structure. A thin skin membrane spread across lengthy fingers makes up their wings. There are many different kinds of bats, and some of them eat fruit, nectar, insects, fish, or even human blood. There are just three kinds of bats that feed on blood, and they do not primarily prey on people, despite their common link with vampires in legend. Disease, loss of habitat, and climate change are the main risks to bat populations; therefore, conservation measures are essential to their survival.
