Lizards
Lizards, or reptiles of the order Squamata, are a varied collection of creatures that may be found in a variety of settings all over the world. These amazing animals have a vast variety of sizes, colours, and adaptations that enable them to flourish in a variety of settings. Lizards have always piqued people’s interest. From the small geckos that use their unique toe pads to cling to walls and ceilings to the formidable Komodo dragons, the biggest living lizards capable of hunting down enormous prey, lizards have fascinated people for generations.
Since lizards are ectothermic animals, their body temperature is controlled by external heat sources. Because of their special quality, they may thrive in a wide range of environments, from lush rainforests to sweltering deserts. The capacity to change colour is a well-known feature of several reptiles, such as chameleons, which they use for concealment, communication, and temperature control. Furthermore, lizards have amazing regeneration powers; several species may recover whole limbs or even missing tails.
